Group drumming is an inclusive experience for community building and is a great outlet for
musical expression, resulting in an increased sense of self-esteem and accomplishment. There are many health benefits associated with drumming. It releases stress, boosts the immune system, alleviates arthritis and is a great form of meditation. Known as brain gym, drumming improves focus, strengthens memory, improves cognitive ability and promotes lucidity. Drumming lifts the spirit, freeing you from anxiety and grief. It helps to develop rhythmic skills and coordination, empowers, liberates and brings balance back into life. No previous drumming or musical experience is needed to be part of a drum circle. Drumming with others is freeing and FUN!

Drumming is a natural wellness tool for healing, personal growth and transformation. Drumming shifts difficult emotions, grounds you in the present, restores vitality, and raises your vibration. Drumming is a bridge that gets us out of our heads and  back in touch with our heart where healing takes place. The rhythm of the drum has its own language and gives voice to emotions not easily identified or expressed. When you participate in a drum in a circle, you become a music maker, creating medicine for yourself, for others and for the planet.

Drum Circles are an effective team building opportunity fostering teamwork, cooperation, and communication. Making music together develops group skills such has as listening, shared leadership, self-empowerment and innovation.
